Legacy gifts provide the foundation for Bryn Mawr’s work. These gifts allow you to take care of your family, provide for the transfer of assets to those close to you, and include a charitable gift. All during your lifetime and afterwards. We can help you find the best way to make your gift, and perhaps find a gift option that you might not have otherwise thought was possible.

Gifts By Will

Your bequest can help build Bryn Mawr’s future. It can also offer practical advantages to you and your heirs, among them that charitable gifts are 100 percent deductible from your taxable estate.

Beneficiary Designations

While most assets pass through a Will, retirement plans and life insurance policies are governed by a separate document that allows you to designate individual and charitable beneficiaries.

IRA QCD

The Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is a great way to make a tax-free gift to Bryn Mawr College and satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). If you are not required to take an RMD, but no longer itemize your deductions, then a QCD may be right for you as well.
